Barium Hydroxide Monohydrate is a kind of Barium Hydroxide. It is obtained by dehydration method. Barium hydroxide octahydrate is obtained from barium-containing raw materials (baryte or witherite) under vacuum heating conditions of 73.3~93.3kPa and 70-90℃. The dehydration time is 60~90min to obtain barium hydroxide monohydrate. Recrystallization method. Witherite is used as raw material and mixed with coal powder. It is calcined at a high temperature of more than 1350℃. The calcined clinker is placed in an extraction tank and leached with water under stirring at 80~90℃. After leaching for 30min, a small amount of zinc oxide is added for desulfurization. The extracted liquid is then filtered, evaporated, concentrated, and cooled to room temperature. The obtained barium hydroxide octahydrate crystals are recrystallized and separated to obtain granular barium hydroxide monohydrate.
